25th July 2024, Vehicle Safety
Project Groot Team,
As we've discussed in our recent meetings, I would like to remind everyone about the upcoming monthly site walk by EMS next week.
During their last visit, one of the key concerns was the issue of vehicles around the building and blocking access points, potentially impeding emergency response in critical situations. It is essential that we ensure unobstructed access for EMS vehicles at all times.
As a reminder, only vehicles covered by your company's insurance plan and displaying a company sign are permitted on-site. Simply putting a company sign on a vehicle does not meet this requirement. All other vehicles must be parked in the designated employee parking lot to avoid any disruptions.
Furthermore, I would like to emphasize the importance of adhering to the posted speed limit of 8 miles per hour.
It is mandatory for anyone operating vehicles, including side-by-sides equipped with seatbelts, to wear seatbelts at all times. Additionally, I urge everyone to refrain from using cell phones while driving. If you need to answer a call or message, please pull over to a safe location before doing so.
Driving on this site is a privilege, and it is crucial that all team members abide by the site rules. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the revocation of driving privileges.
I kindly ask each of you to communicate this to your employees to ensure compliance and a safe working environment for all. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated and crucial.
If anyone has any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
Thank you,
L.E. Lopez -
15th November 2023, Barricades/Exclusion zones
To All:
We need to address the use and need for proper barricades. If you are performing High Hazard work such as elevated, working on multiple levels, loading roof with materials, hot work with potential to fall below, open excavations, all of these would require RED danger tape. Now if the hazards DO NOT exist after your workday the barricade MUST COME DOWN. ALL barricades MUST have signage and be MAINTANED.
Barricades MUST be inspected and addressed for the need of any barricade at all. Your task for today and until lunch tomorrow is to address ALL your barricades and make the needed corrections.
Barricades MUST be properly in place with correct signage by noon 11/16/2023 or ALL work be stopped until any and all barricades are corrected. If you have any questions, PLEASE feel free to contact anyone with GRAY. -

Project Groot Team,
Attachments :
There is an upcoming road closure that may affect your daily commute to work. Beginning Monday, September 25, 2023, Veterans Memorial Rd will be closed due to construction activities.
The closure will be in effect between the railroad crossing from Gates 3&4, extending up to Stringtown Rd. The attached drawing provides a visual of the affected area for your reference.
It's important that you notify all your employees about this road closure to ensure they are aware of the situation and can plan their commutes accordingly.
If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding this, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank you,
L.E. Lopez
