DEF - DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID
Brenntag
Can decompose at high temperatures forming toxic gases. Contents may develop pressure on prolonged
exposure to heat. See "Other Health Effects" Section.
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW:
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
Prolonged or repeated overexposure to mists may cause mild respiratory irritation. Excessive contact
with mist or spray may cause irritation of mucous membranes, coughing and difficulty in breathing. See
"Other Health Effects" Section.
Inhalation:
Skin contact can cause irritation, especially under the finger nails (and other confined spaces such as
under rings or watch bands). May cause defatting, drying and cracking of the skin. Prolonged and
repeated contact may lead to dermatitis.
Skin Contact:
Skin Absorption: Not likely to be absorbed through the skin.
Eye Contact: Causes eye irritation. Burns can occur if not promptly removed.
Ingestion: This product causes irritation, a burning sensation of the mouth and throat and abdominal pain.
exposure to heat. See "Other Health Effects" Section.

CORESHIELD FLUX CORED WELDING ELECTRODES
THE ESAB GROUP, INC
Emergency Overview: Metal wires in varying colors. These products are normally not considered hazardous as shipped. Gloves should
be worn when handling to prevent cuts and abrasions.
Some of these products contain nickel, which is classified as toxic by prolonged inhalation, a skin sensitizer and a suspect carcinogen.
Nickel powder is harmful for the environment. Some of these products contain barium fluoride, which is classified as harmful by inhalation
and ingestion. Some of these products contain potassium fluorosilicate which is classified as toxic by inhalation, skin contact and ingestion. In the form that these substances are present in these products, they do not contribute to a hazard classification of the product.
These products contain quartz, but normally not in an inhalable fraction. Quartz can cause silicosis and may cause cancer.
Skin contact is normally no hazard but should be avoided to prevent possible allergic reactions.
Persons with a pacemaker should not go near welding or cutting operations until they have consulted their doctor and obtained
information from the manufacturer of the device.
When these products are used in a welding process, the most important hazards are heat, radiation, electric shock and welding fumes.
Heat: Spatter and melting metal can cause burn injuries and start fires.
Radiation: Arc rays can severely damage eyes or skin.
Electricity: Electric shock can kill.
Fumes: Overexposure to welding fumes may result in symptoms like metal fume fever, dizziness, nausea, dryness or irritation of
the nose, throat or eyes. Chronic overexposure to welding fumes may affect pulmonary function. Prolonged inhalation of
nickel above safe exposure limits can cause cancer. Overexposure to manganese and manganese compounds above
safe exposure limits can cause irreversible damage to the central nervous system, including the brain, symptoms o
